A president is supposed to lead by example. Do you really want kids to aspire to be like him? How any woman (or man) can vote for someone who openly brags about grabbing women’s genitalia and having affairs with numerous women (including at least one porn star) is disgusting! If you’re a female supporter, do you think it’s Okay for someone to grab your private parts just because he has money and feels entitled? If you’re a male supporter, would you be okay if your daughter, sister, or mom were assaulted like that? And he acts like it’s some kind of joke! Isn’t it ironic that he says he wants to get tough on crime yet he’s one of Americas biggest white collar scammers. And kicking out migrants? What is his wife?

As an average Canadian, I get back what I pay for the carbon tax and I certainly agree that bigger polluters should be paying more for their increased carbon emissions, which would otherwise go unchecked. Poilievre only criticizes but offers no solutions. I can’t vote for a leader that has no platform or solutions to offer for the many issues confronting us. Ford preached of “fiscal responsibility” when he defeated the Wynn government, but has been anything but responsible since coming to power. Remember, he’s also the guy who also wanted to hand over the Greenbelt to his developer friends and hand them a 16 billion dollar windfall!

They allow business owners to keep their wages at uncompetitive minimum wages, they allow business owners not to invest in training and technology for Canadian workers, it’s flush with bribes and corruption to allow foreigners to buy their way in rather than follow proper immigration procedures. In the process, it has pushed Canadians who once held low wage jobs out of their positions and also out of their homes and apartments and pushed many into the street. We are seeing the results before our eyes in our communities, yet government is not offering any solutions. It’s a real mess for all of us now and will take years, if not decades to correct if our governments are even willing to acknowledge their role in creating this mess and correcting it. Immigration consultants and sham immigration policies should not be a growth industry. Time to roll back on all this nonsense!

Not only that, but they will now each be entitled to a large severance package. Who could even dream up such a debacle and waste of taxpayers money? This is beyond shameful, especially when there were already many warning signs about Canadore and the Ontario government getting into bed with the same business man who had already left a trail of business scams and red ink on the floor in several other Ontario communities. This simply doesn’t pass the smell test and is worthy of an investigation by the auditor general at minimum, and I would argue also an investigation by OPP business fraud squad as well as a public inquiry!

BayToday 13I foresee a parking nightmare. Don’t forget that this is the main access to sunset park and beach which also is an active boat launch. I have to really question our planning department and their ability to effectively plan our city development. From what I’ve seen over the last number of years, there really isn’t any vision and actual planing for our city. Just zoning approvals and amendments etc. What planning expertise have they provided for the location and construction of the arena? All pretty much driven by consultants and interest groups.
