And who paid for police fire and EMS. Not the U of G, they still owe for past years. As if June, we were over budget in overtime hrs with Guelph police services.

I would like to see what will happen to MacDonell Street next year during the Memorial cup. How embarrassing for our city. It should have been given to Kitchener for this reason! Our taxes will go through the roof!

Happened to us. TD bank mobile a CRA cheque for $4898.52. we are low income and needed it badly. We deposited other CRA cheques at same time but bank rejected only that one. Email next day they said rejected. No reason. It was sent back to CRA. Called CRA can't print a form for new cheque you have to have them mail you one. Of course mail strike. This was Oct 3 2025. When we got form sent back that day. And every 3 days called, waited, CRA. Nothing they don't know anything about cheque. Just because refused cheque from govt. It was suppose to be mailed when 2 and cheque issued. Takes 12 weeks. Jan 12 2026 it was deposited into TD not mailed. 4 months! If I owed CRA they would be demanded interest! Thank you TD!

Not the taxpayers and neighborhoods. We're u woken a 4:10 am by 50 students leaving a party in ur neighborhood waking up family and making ur dog bark?

To the person who said taxes are rolled into mortgage. Not true. As of Nov TD Bank stopped this. After all my yrs with them now I have to pay my own property taxes.

The have to follow law and that's one of many many bylaws. Like a pool fence with a lock gate under it.

Strange as college ave and Edinburgh Road intersection had the same amount of rain and is on schedule and down Phase 1.

No. I doesn't matter if the whole city supports one. If she is breaking one bylaw, warning , several bylaws she is shut down or large fine.

I think what she met by the city of Guelph donating bikes. Really? What she meant was the city of Guelph people not directly the city

How would u like to go to hosp when ur sick and crabby, and having a run in with someone high. Or saying goodbye to ur loved one at hosp and having a confrontation one someone high? It's a fact of life they need help but a better place would be beside the Homewood close to hosp.

169 Janefield for a Hasty is not correct. Lol I have lived here for 57 yrs. Totally incorrect 👎

Those business' are paying high enough taxes. Put it close to Homewood, therefore hosp across the street.

We need another hosp. Yrs ago Guelph population was smaller and we had 2 hospitals. Now population is larger and one small hospital. Health care is more important than expensive parklands.

A hosp in the Southend is needed and perfect area as it is close to 401 accidents.
I've lived here all my life. 58 yrs. Southend. Bought a house 2 min from my childhood home. Yes Southend but my street was all families. Now 2 families. Loud parties till 4 am, loud music, trash and doesn't stop in summer as they stand here all summer. I say U of G need to build on their land. Or build residential housing in industrial park and have buses bring them in to school. And party buses to downtown. Let us have our neighbourhoods back. Get rid of students in Southend and slumlords.
Beside the mayor's house
That would be wonderful Southend but not enough property. Housing is going up in all the Southend as rea as closer the 401

The complaints have diminished because ppl have giving up complaining about them as it goes no where. The should have had a town hall meeting or survey that we could have filled out online with suggestions. The congestion at Stone to Cole is crazy in am and worse from 330 to 6 pm. And if emergency vehicles need to pass to come down Cole it's almost impossible. City hall should have asked emergency personnel about this too. They are a lot of emergencies on Cole and Christopher Crt. Pulling into Shoppers, Canadian Tire and the medical building is nearly impossible at those busy times. Especially during Christmas season.
