Is there anything wrong with ensuring that the truly needy get the food and not people who want some free food and can more than afford to buy there own provisions. TBNewsWatch 20Definitely fuel involved, don't know about hybrid.... when I was turning around I saw the fuel tank ignite.....the entire road area under the vehicle was on fire. Returning past the area about 45 minutes later there was nothing left but a shell. Fortunately the woman was reasonably OK.....would have been a very dangerous situation.

TBNewsWatch 10Anything that keeps cyclists of the roads is a good thing. As a fervent cyclist and a driver.....nothing annoys me more that a cyclist impeding traffic just because the law says they can be there. That may have been so in Henry Ford's time but not now. Bikes do not belong on the road mixing with heavy traffic....not even in bike lanes. I also walk a lot and have no problem with bikes on sidewalks....it's not like they are doing 30 Km/hr.

When the streetlights came on in the spring, summer and fall it was time to head home and I grew up in a major city in the fifties. Playgrounds, parks, school areas were safe places. My parents knew where I was and who I was with......the world seems to have lost that innocence and trust.

TBNewsWatch 9On two separate occasions when I was in the store on May street a "person" ran out of the store with alcohol. Both occasions it appeared to be a six pack of beer. I was at the counter purchasing a lottery ticked and by the time I looked in their direction they were already part way out the door. Petty crime has become acceptable.....it will soon expand into larger crime because people get away with it.

There will be savings in not maintaining multiple locations across the province...many in high cost locations like the Thunder enter and West Arthur place.
