Realistically under this decision and with the amount of monies owed and owing no one who is party to this treaty or their decedent should ever have to work again. Not to mention the monies owed to those who have passed on and not recieved their due. I am sure all canadians young or old want to make this right.

Unbelievable....absolutley unbelievable. There go another ten thousand units outta the rental supply. The direct result of bowing to the bleeding hearts who will NOT allow users and abusers to be held responsible for their actions. Shift the blame and duck the responsibility is the bleeding heart mantra which is killing the folks they purport to care about.Crazy

This has zero to do with keeping a pharmacist on duty. Rather its in response to the dangerous "clientele" they get at night. Same reason Tims up the road closed its public access when it did. It is simply unsafe out there.

The ONLY way is their way? Interesting thought.

We must also equally advocate for personal responsibility and move away from hyper-individualism. Without which we will never be able to keep up with the rate at which we are creating vulnerable people. The tragedy of it all is more and more harms are coming to more and more people everyday under the umbrella of supports. Coupled with the Support industry being one of the fastest growing sectors we face a very real danger of creating an ever growing whirlpool of tragedy, which we will all pay for in one way or another. Peace

We had the age of Aquarius, we had the space age and the stone age.... now we have the age of entitlement. God help us.

Thanks guys... spent 40yrs building my place and you take away a large part of my investment. Unfortunately this was predictable as evidenced by the monies being dumped into improving the north end while the south end sinks further and further. Go to work they said..save your money they said..dont be greedy... and this is my reward... Thanks

#1 in Canada eh? Well.... Folks only do what they learn they can get away with. We teach em young that property crime pays and its not investigated... we've created a training ground. We teach em they're victims and grow the anger, we destigmatise destructive behaviors and remove personal responsibility. We spoon feed people into poverty and remove the sense of accomplishment only experinced by earning ones way. #1 in Canada, well we have worked for it.Shame.

Please leave me a list of who you will not let me watch, I'd feel so much safer benefiting from your immense knowledge of what is good for me.

I've written a letter to council ( its notable who did and did not respond)Outlining my experience in westfort with crime and the drug trade.Briefly I've had intruders in my house both when ive been home and when I was not. Two vehicles stolen...( police told me they di not investigate auto theft.. had a multi unit take down of a dealer in my yard by police...Multiple break n enters to vehicles.. and told by police that they "had no one to send" And by my councilwoman that it must be because I have "cool" stuff... all while I'm apparently "privileged. Hmmm. The Mayor is Not wrong.

If you build it they will come. And mark my words this will be as "temporary " as income tax was claimed to be.

So very interesting how the north and south ends of the city are being directed and managed. Would be Very nice to see some balance in direction.

Agreed totally. And, we need to drill deeper still. The "root causes" poverty and mental health are still symptoms of an even deeper problem which if we don't address will cost even more lives and tragedies.

Maybe one day we will figure out and relize what we are doing wrong. Why we are producing record numbers of people in need when we have never had more supports and aid available.

All of our governments need to cut supports n let people learn how to be responsible for themselves. It should not be the role of governments to provide a income and spoon people into poverty.Rather it should provide education, tools and pathways to success. We need a safety net, not a hammock.

You are blindingly out of touch. Utterly and throughly. We built our homes over the years by over comming obstacles. Now we are told we are the lucky ones? When were being assaulted? When our property is being vandalized, stolen. When we're afraid to go outside at night, when drug dazed people are in our houses??? We're supposed to smile????My lord

Everyone deserves the chance to earn aliving wage. They are not, not entitled to it, you earrrn it.Low skill entry level jobs were never meant to provide a living these jobs were only meant to be steps. Not places to park. As you develop skills your wage and value go up. To suppose otherwise, is not wise.
