The lack of a family doctor is provincial. Feds give a ton of money to provinces for healthcare. Ford has misused and withheld that money to create what we are experiencing now. Just a tiny bit of educating yourself, would go a long way. Inflation is a worldwide problem right now, we are actually on the downslope at the moment, it has little to do with Trudeau. If you’re gonna be mad at him, at least pick something that’s his fault. Don’t worry though, PP will make it all much worse.

so, we are gonna spent 700k plus more to buy the building, add a right turn lane because of the wait times. Then we will turn both directions into single lane with a bike lane and middle turning lane. Which will defeat the purpose of the right turn lane to reduce wait times.City logic. What a colossal waste of money. 4m still way too much for that crap. Mayor and council have dropped the ball over and over. Changing roads to cause more congestion to add bike lanes that are rarely used on a road that has the 2 biggest industries in town. Shift change is brutal now. Spending our tax money on dilapidated buildings for 5x more than they are worth, I doubt we will see the return this mayor believes, unless he’s already made a backdoor deal with someone to give away parts for free. He has been an absolute train wreck and the city is worse off because of him.

How exactly is it making it difficult? Bus’s are generally in almost the middle of the road when dropping off students, with the lights on and the stop sign on. Have yet to see them be a problem. Generally 1 or 2 overhanging the road. It doesn’t interfere with anything. No worse than a car parking on the side of the road.

I mean, if Ford hadn’t purposely underfunded healthcare to create the crisis in the first place, then made decisions that added extra work and refused to increase pay and drove doctors away, so he could try his best to privatize our healthcare….. we would t have this problem, but ya, let’s agree with good ol Dougie, he’s only steered us wrong like 20-30 times before…

So glad someone from down south, is again, telling us what we need, and our council being so smart, they take the recommendations, and order changes based on recommendation from someone who doesn’t live here or know what’s going on. Over 2/3rds don’t think parking is an issue, so instead of taking that, and being happy that no one is having problems finding spots, let’s take it, and create an issue. This council is full of people that just don’t get it.
