So plant lady is saying its the kids fault for not looking both ways. Speeding is done by a person with their foot on the pedal who is speeding.

Its a poorly written article. I believe what It means is 1600 jobs in other sectors in the city could be lost. I bet its even more.

Great idea to support this. We should also work on natural asset management here in the soo. We have dropped our naturally gifted mindset and increasingly seem to be in a rush to have more pavement and cement on our green spaces.

Great article. Great cause for volunteers. Also after this do a blitz there on fines for littering and for not cleaning up after your pet.Volunteer cleanup is very honourable but its like not educating people properly. There are many people who havent been brought up with good social values.

I elect simeone to make good decisions. Not to have to always second guess them. But its very very easy to pick out the many mistakes made by our elected officials. Poor decisions led up to this. Poor decisions were made during the problem. Poor decisions were made to try to correct mistakes. And i think poor decisions will expedite this. Costs will be in the millions and the results will not be wise. God!

Buster your post is excellent. Read it below. Expose it all. We are not 2nd class citizens. You work for us p.u.c. Who is responsible to correct these things. Thank you again, Buster.

Theres not enough info given in the article to make a decision. Only enough for people to sit in their chairs and give knee jerk uninformed comments. Dont be 'those people'.

McaWell you make a good statement but what is your answer. Is the deepfake described something you are ok with?. The answer is obvious. Ban platforms that do not protect. Ban the x (twitter) platform. Why waste resources to put up guardrails with every new ai tool out there and challenge every time it theres a new deepfake. Enough!

Did they talk about environmental concerns or health issues. Now with government money and parrnership and first nation money and partnership who will oversee health and environment. Who will pay?

Wow everybody knows everything eh. Lots to unwrap here. Cost of living is high. Many people cant make ends meet. Cheap rides help ur pocketbook, then u can eat. Drivers can work. Yes some are sketchy. Yes riders are at risk. Weve made the world all fast and modern. People have phones and tech before roofs. Current tech is good sometimes but also makes it easy to help bad actors. Level the playing field. The city has a responsibility to all of us.

And then a sootoday vote below the article with options only about theft. Was it stolen? Was it not?

Lots of hiding going on behind all this 'government speak'. A lot of the answers are veiled deflection and passing the buck and slippery politics. Its dishonest and immoral. I commend Riopel and Hilsinger and all the others who do whats right. And who have an honest mindset and integrity. Thank you for your work and your honesty. It would be a different city and country if people would have vision. Our future would be brighter.

What do we think about current situation at algoma steel exceeding environmental limit? And is there concerns over the ferrochrome plant that absolutely will be invited to our town? P6C area code has much higher cancer rates already. And theres lots of talk of 'brown site' development. Companies get billions and yet dont pay for cleanup. We do.

Please please please make sure that theres lots of space between business and the river. So its not congested... and you will want to go down to get some peace and fresh air, and a good natural feel. The shores of this river are the best gift for health... mental and physical. Look at best practices ( and mistakes) in other cities. Council and mayor please be wise and not big shots. Sorry to be blunt.
