Trump does not have an understanding of economics…he sees the disruptions that are happening and only thinks…wow…I created this…I have power..he does not care about people anywhere…would, and has, thrown family under the bus. And BTW, when is last time he even drove a car himself. ..also curious what the tariffs are on the orange make up he imports from China.

Ford should have left the tax on hydro…and then double it…should work on Quebec, New Brunswick, Manitoba and BC to follow suit, and Saskatchewan to put a tax on the potassium. If Alberta would join in, would be great. With a united front, Trump will not participate in the dance, his bone spurs would be bothering him.

Trump…the trade deal with Canada USA and Mexico….from his first term…this is the worsts deal ever…..He signed it….someone should challenge him in a presser re Canadian dairy tariffs..citing 200 % ..it should be explained to him…again, part of what he signed..

Ontario, historically, does not like to have PC governments in Ottawa and Toronto simultaneously…Ford anticipating a federal PC win..Voters should remember the things that Ford did and was forced to undo..at a major cost. And things he promised but has not delivered, things that he said he would not do, but did. Ontario Place a looming disaster…we don’t need a new highway at the expense of valuable farmland..A lot to consider on this one. .I also think a lot of arrogance in his cabinet. Prior liberal leaders long gone…health care has to be prioritized…Licence plate stickers $$ could have gone towards…along either way the $200 cheques. Covid exposed a lot of deficiencies in long term care…Ford has rewarded some of those and not followed up on other issues. A majority for Ford in these times not good.

Just as he never talked about any past trips… Copenhagen included. With 10% tax increases travel/ conferences for elected or city hall suits should be cancelled.. if some can work from home, others can learn from home.. have the “open” mayor explain the return to taxpayers of these trips.
