The politics of snow removal are bad for the City

13Watching someone I am very close to looking like ‘death warmed over’..going in to work at 2 am and working till 3 pm the next day…for many many days during these storms I can say thank you to all the city guys and ladies working their tails off for weeks now. They are burnt out! The dilemma is that we are paying a lot for our taxes now. The city can’t afford to staff appropriately for these unique storms that don’t happen regularly.

GuelphToday 2Most of the rents barely pay the mortgage the owner has currently. . Matters will only get worse as interest rates have risen since the mortgages were last renewed. There are bad landlords but certainly not the majority. We need to stop painting everyone with the same brush . There are also lots of bad tenants.
