Completely agree Silverhair. Everyone wants "affordable" housing and all the perks. NDP, smh...everything free for everyone as long as THEY don't pay for it.

Have you ever attempted to call her on Ward 2 concerns? Either doesn’t answer her phone or if she does immediately sounds angry like she is being disturbed. Perhaps too much mom stuff getting in the way of her responsibilities to her Ward.

Knew it. Taxpayer money once again. So easy to spend others money. Solution to mismanagement.

Economics 101. Rent controls never worked. Increased supply of housing or reduced demand.

I truly dislike Lisa. Ineffective and unfriendly Ward 2 councillor. Sadly, only enjoys the “fame” but doesn’t take any calls from constituents or action anything. Call the City is her motto.

I’ve witnessed many foreign “students” foregoing their studies for employment. While absolutely nothing wrong with working, I believe this is an abuse of their student visas.

This is silly. Publicly funded organizations should not be on this list (City of SSM, social services, Puc, OLG, etc.).

Cut the bloated salaries

A Government funded organization is voluntarily increasing wages. So kind and compassionate when using tax payers money.

Holding spending to 1%, which is well below the population growth, healthcare needs and inflation. Completely silly.

I agree with Mr. Shoemaker. Allowing or even participating in a bidding war on vital services such as healthcare will only create geographical disadvantages. I don't comprehend your position SooYahoo. While Timmins is spending $200,000 a year to attract health care staff as you suggest, shall we compete by offering $300,000? The entire fabric of a "free" and universal healthcare will be ripped apart if this continues in my opinion. What are your ideas to attract doctors?

Ridiculous comment. Yeah, the teachers should work harder and care more than the student about THEIR education. I suspect that this comment is issued largely by the poor performing students. Similarly to sports, the laggards blame the coach. SMH.

Try calling there. It’s a circus. Sad.

Be mindful of “under funding”. The salaries for many management positions are quite well funded. I always disregard broad comments when it comes to funding.
