As a senior, and long time resident of the area; a seniors housing project is also sorely needed in this city. The location isn't ideal, but something is better than empty land. When it gets built finally , will it be subsidized housing rates; or for the wealthy seniors????
It's a 'darned shame' that that little site was destroyed; and that all that will remain is the plaque. Yes, at the park, but it's upsetting that site in downtown was destroyed.
We don't have nearby bus routes; living in an unserved area on the Hart ...so this means better service for downtown?! The route #'s mean nothing to me. I suppose it helps the downtown, and University areas.
