They don't even keep the walking paths cleared and why do we need more bikes winging up on this without a sound, a bell, a whistle anything. You wisely shorten our streets for these bikes??? Now you want to take away our enjoyment of our walks in the beautiful Bellevue Park by putting more bikes in there. Just leave them on the streets where they belong and leave us to our own walking parks. They whined for it, now use it.
Well, Sault College instead of catering to the Orazietti's (David and "Paul Mr. Football program") would definitely have more money for the school if the wages were somehow cut and expense of that" Paul's Dream Football Program" were suspended it could benefit the programs most interested by the student body. At the most the top level Athletic programs that have brought Sault College attracting students are the Girl's and Men's Hockey Programs and The Baseball Program and the Trades(expanding the variety would be smart), Police Foundations, Natural Resources, Nursing, Indigenous Learning and Business. Each one of these bring in tuition more so than others and it would be wise to attract more students that way from our own country as especially Trades as there is a huge calling for them now and in the future.
Why don't they use shorter buses during the slow times and put the bigger ones on routes when the volume of riders are higher. I usually see the big buses with 1-4 people on them during most of the day. Save money and our streets from wear and tear like we don't get enough with our NASCAR School Bus drivers.
It is about time that these lawbreakers serve more time and not in resort style confinement. Dealers and traffickers, throw away the key for an extended time and possibly this will help clean-up the low life's we have staggering around the Soo. The only way of healing is for the addicted to take the 1st step on their own. Tired of catering to these people who never had a gun put to their heads to start their life of addiction. Just very tired of having these Halloween style addicts ruining our beautiful city all year long.
Cutting jobs but adding a football team ??????????? Transportation, rooming, cash expenses on road trips for 40-50 plus players plus travel expenses for the bus and hotel accommodations!!! What other athletic programs will suffer due to this pet project????

I walk Bellevue Park everyday with my dog and yes sometimes I let her off the leash when no one is around but call her and pick it up when I see people or a person I don't know. Most dog walkers at the park know each other and their dogs and like to see them have fun like dogs should be allowed to like running and chasing each other as long as they are away from others and obey commands. I have met numerous people and their dogs that have become friends in the park without incidents. All of us as most owners pick-up after their dogs except for the few ignorant ones thankfully not too much. All people I've met are friendly and have greetings each time but of course there is always a weirdo or 2 who try to act like owners of the territory. My best advice for their dogs is to run and find any other owner, it would be a huge step up from your present dingbat/
I walk my dog at Bellevue Park and in an open part I throw a stick for her as that is the most fun part of our walk. If we see people coming that I don’t know and pick up the leash. Mostly we have dog walking friends who also do the same and pick up the leash so the dogs not just the people enjoy themselves also. Bike riders zip around on the walkways with neither a bell or warnings that they’re about to come up on walkers. I feel that is the main problem at the park not dogs.
The entire world is crying for tradesmen, nurses, and all types of medical personnel as well as specialized jobs. Adapt to what the world is needing and add those courses to draw students who can see the future in employments best opportunities.Bringing in a football team to a small college with housing limited, travel and food costs, equipment costs, etc. etc. will negatively affect the successful Athletic Programs costs. How could this be justified when they eliminate jobs and personnel at the College to justify a Pet Project for his brother.
I went to school at Anna McCrea Public School in Sault Ste Marie during the mid 50's to the 60's with many of my fellow classmates from the Shingwauk Residential School who were from areas of Moose Factory and Moosonee. Jerry Wyne, Simon and Willie Otter Eyes, Elias Owl, Levi Southwind, Johnny and Willie Yes No, Daisy Flower, Billy Saganash, Kenny Rabbitskin and many many more.Of course not realizing during those times the horror of their situations and their families, nowadays it is to think what their early lives taken from homes was so wrong. I still have great memories of my friends who taught me more than any school can about life and how to respect it.This is truly Canada and the States own "Holocaust"
The cost of a Canadian College Safety issued Helmet is $700 to $1,400 !!!!!! If you have 60 players, do they share helmets? That cost alone $42,700 for one piece of their equipment is crazy. I would never want to see student athletes lose their chosen athletics but the cost of one program at a small college like Sault College is ridiculous. Time to take a responsible look at where funding in Athletics is directed and by who.
A great coach and staff she assembled also. Brianne is everything you want in a coach and person to run such a successful program at Sault College. She will be certainly missed behind the bench and other duties but lessons learned on life and hockey will remain with her teams forever. Congratulations Brianne

The football program is still on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quit catering to your brother and stick to the athletic programs that have showed great success for the college. This pipe dream of a football team would quadruple the costs of any other program. Where would you get the monies, not the gov'ts, not the public and sure as hell not from the students for an unnecessary program. If you're a President David, act like it and quit putting out hints that the program and all the buildings and fields for football could go forward with this cutback in foreign student enrollments. Your brother has not certainly deserved it.I can have my voice here as I am no longer at the college and not worried about speaking out which currently certain staff will never do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
