Saying we "need this and any new construction ect" is how you end up getting bent over by these people. It's how you end up saying yes today and discovering a host of problems tomorrow. We need affordable housing not another way to send money to Toronto. I doubt these "investors" care about the city, and they'll vanish once the money's gone leaving us the mess.

They where warned that building on the hill would affect up drainage and make us more prone to flooding, back when they first began developing up there. They went ahead and did it anyway. They didn't care who about us, I'm not going to care about them.

Funny that parachute candidates and the longest ballot weren't a problem for anybody in the Toronto-St. Pauls byelection or the LaSalle-Emard-Verdun byelection last year. This isn't election interference its people getting creative with the system. There is an easy way to end this longest ballot stuff. Simply insist on a Residency Requirement for all candidates. Every candidate running must have their primary residence in or within 100km of the riding (to account for changes in boundaries between elections). Course then guys like Poilievre wouldn't be able to shop around for safe ridings so easily. Man might actually have to get a job that's not on the public dime for once in his life.

Something the article left out, Some types ofHammerhead Worms carry Tetrodotoxin (TTX) the same substance found in Pufferfish. Well there's no documentation of them ever killing a human (they don't produce enough) they can cause irritation of the skin if you touch one and don't immediately wash those hands. Pets should be kept away from them as they can cause serious harm especially if ingested.
