I wish no ill will to Rydens or Grand Portage but this is Canadians showing support for their country after being continually threatened/mocked and not wanting to support American businesses. If they want to be upset with someone then they need to raise their voices to the American Government and not the Canadians boycotting.

They purposely dragged out the hearing knowing full well they couldn't afford it and had no intention of paying it but yeah lets blame the landlord who's carrying the mortgage for somebody else to live in it for free......

So they keep continually raising our taxes (despite being one of the highest in Ontario with nothing to show for it) and they throw it away. Time for a tax revolt, this is getting disgusting

I know of vandalisms that have happened in Minneapolis against Canadians. Just because it hasn't been reported in Grand Portage or Duluth doesn't mean it's not happening

Noego the current tent cities don't even follow city bylaws. Heck I've watch them chopping tree limbs off of trees and having fires DURING the fire ban last year with no recourse. How about YOU give some actual thought before speaking

There's been drug dealings, murders, and rapes that have happened in these "villages" and none of them are being reported on the city news. They have free power, free water, free garbage pickup, free food, and free shelters given out. They have fires on these sites quite often (including last year during the fire ban). Now we're building them free homes? We already have one of the highest tax rates in Ontario with nothing to show for it. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read

Victoriaville is a joke. It's lost money every year for like 30 years straight. Ironically enough it went downhill due to the riff raff that was hanging around there and people didn't feel safe going in. Reward - build them free homes
