Happy to see him standing up to that egotistic President they have over there, trying to takeover everything, he needs to be put in his place I don’t understand how this awful dictator Trump got into office. Thanks Mark Carney for standing up, your speech was very well done! I don’t care about political party side beleifs I believe this was very well thought out and a stance in the right direction.
Very scary times for workers, Algoma Steel supply’s a big portion to the US so this is very bad news for them, Tenaris on the other hand is majority Canada so this will definetly impact Algoma Steel harder then Tenaris, I really pray for everyone in the steel industry no need for this clown to be imposing illegal tariffs, biggest felon running that country should not be allowed!
Glad to see the numbers continuously declining, not sure why anyone would support Trump after the way he be-littles our Country, and only try to make our lives worse with tariffs, his own Country is feeling it and many regret there vote and are embarrassed especially after electing someone who was best friends with Jeffery Epstein, good glad Canada is avoiding the US and the numbers are proof, tourism in the US has dropped drastically, some going as far as offering hotels and other amenities paid at par with our dollar just trying to get tourists, believe me its hurting the US and they can thank there disgusting President for that
Regardless of the matter you keep all the flags up, if your gonna take one down take the rest down and leave a Canada flag to show full support to Canada during this difficult time for us Canadians, at the end of the day their still our allies were just dealing with a felon for a president that will be replaced in 4 years, hopefully sooner
Well… don’t be suprised when theres less young adults applying to college/university because of this, there will be shortages in many fields and we will just have to restart the cycle, history repeats itself time and time again.
Nothing wrong with the increase, I seen some were upset about it, I get it, but everythings gone up in price down to the gas and insurance, repairs to these bus’ I dont see why a 25 cent increase isn’t feasible, aswell bus passes can be still purchased and can save yourself that way, if it hurts that much take one less ride, and walk save yourself the extra quarter a couple times over
@Rwz Food prices have been up and going up for many years now, go across to the US there prices are comparable to ours if not more after you convert the dollar, most stuff isnt worth going across for with the conversion
I understand the frustration for many, but at the same time these guys work their bags off to provide the best possible service. Many working 12-16 hour shifts just to keep up with the snow accumulation, theyve done very well and kept up with their standards for most, working long nights into the morning during the worst weather give these guys more credit for what they do, an $80 upcharge is not a lot considering the amount of snow, the costs of operating, gas, repairs, the whole works is very costly, running a business with 75 guys, 50 tractors is a lot of overhead, very greatly priced service, think of it like this pay someone $50 per snowfall to do your driveway or pay the $700 for the whole year, they’ve definitely done more then enough and $80 shouldn’t break the bank of everyone this has been a crazy winter, thank you Northern Snow for all you do! I know a family member who is very happy with the services they have received and never to worry, always going to have upset people
Did anyone think to ask where that extra money that wont be granted will be going towards? Or we going to reduce my taxes? Something? Whos benefiting from this?
Glad the selfless Canadians had there trip cancelled, karma! Why would you ever support the US especially with whats going on, travel within Canada or somewhere in Europe, I boycott the US aswell do many others hop on board
Cant argue theres lots to do but this is the worst winter maintenance ive seen in my life, days after snowfall and we still have streets that havent been plowed what looks like not once, go down oryme ave, reid st area, continuous ruts and enough snow to get you stuck, doesn’t look like it was done once just compacted by the drivers, and i get it l, it snowed a lot but this is days after a snowfall when the main streets are cleared no reason they couldnt have gotten to these streets, high taxes in that area for not to be looked after, another is farewell terrace pretty main road used by many daily full of ruts and barley been maintained, being pulled very close to snowbanks due to ruts, would be nice if they did something about it, someones gonna get hurt and accidents will be on the rise, poor winter maintenance then we wonder why we have a car flipped on McNabb, hopefully they can get those graders out tonight
The signs don’t do anything anyways look at John St Tim Hortons for instance, they have a sign up on the side of the building saying no panhandling, yet theres always 1-2 panhandlers there. Unfortunately without enforcement these signs are useless information for them
