54Conservatives fail to understand that there are enough progressives in Canada that as long as they keep putting forward regressive, hard right wannabe Trumpers they will never win. It’s astounding to me that with Scheer, O’Toole and Poilievre they had large leads going into federal elections (trying to come across as centrist) but then the hardest of the hard right can’t restrain themselves, and start on with their their pro-life or other extreme views and lose. This has been happening for 10 years and counting and they don’t learn. The Regressive Conservative Party of Canada is just so distasteful to too many of us.

GuelphToday 16So it’s a way for people who can’t get a driver’s license (or have had it suspended) or who have had their insurance revoked to “legally” circumvent the law and still drive a vehicle capable of going at or close to the speed limit in urban areas…? Got it. At a top speed of 45 km/h, these motor vehicles should be subject to the Highway Traffic Act, should require licensing and insurance and should not be on sidewalks. Period.

I’m sure it has opened up all kinds of questions personally, as he tries to reconcile what he believed of his history and upbringing versus what he has since discovered to be the truth. I sincerely hope he is incorrect about the firestorm of criticism to come. If he was led to believe by his family that he was part Indigenous, how can he be criticized for this?

GuelphToday 4“The ones who are mainly ending up at City Hall, are those who have been banned from overnight shelters, or the nightwalkers who can be found sleeping in stairwells, banking kiosks or lobbies.” I can only imagine that you’ve confirmed these facts from verifiable data from the City about where the people using the warming centre spent the rest of their time, and they have nothing to do with your biases and ignorance. Maybe they’re using the City Hall warming centre since the emergency shelters are full when it’s -25C and no one can survive outside…?
