62Really???The timing of this is 100% self serving. An election is not needed right now. There is No need to “secure” a public mandate… he has a majority government and already has that. Having an election now would only create more chaos/ uncertainty with Trump pushing through his new policy/threats. The Ford government currently sees weakness among the other parties and wants to avoid potential negative public opinion when Trumps antics dissipate and we return to the issues that his party has butchered (ie., health care). He simply wants to ensure his party an additional three years in Power now by calling an unnecessary election while everyone is distracted and while the other parties are not ready for one.Shame on him!

It’s shameful to bring up a diversity/ gender imbalance when one loses. It’s just sour grapes!

He’s been a backbencher within the Liberal party ever since elected, and has been content watching everyone else do the dirty work. In the end, whoever he sides with, will not be the next Prime Minister. The Liberals are done… as is Sheehan lack-luster political career. Not picking a side is typical of Terry. He loves sitting back, and not saying a word. We will hear from him only when the situation benefits him, or when he is forced to act.
