that's good news, our city needs this type of facility. It will be well used by our thunder bay residents, unlike the Art Gallery......

3.75 million for a round about that is 100% not needed!!!! there is nothing wrong with Traffic Lights at this intersection!!!! Why does our City Council love spending my money on unneeded things!!!!

This is the worst decision ever!!..........It is a Highway! it was built to be a highway! If residents along here don't like it MOVE! It doesn't make anything safer, it just moves things away from the MIMBY's on Dawson rd! Lets remember there are kids crossing the expressway intersections at John and Oliver as well, and lots of kids, family's, homes etc in Kakaebca! Lets all remember who voted for this ridiculous change come election time. Councillors Albert Aiello, Dominic Pasqualino, Trevor Giertuga, Brian Hamilton, Shelby Ch'ng, Michael Zussino, Greg Johnsen and Andrew Foulds voted in favour of the designated truck route.Councillors Mark Bentz, Kristen Oliver, Rajni Agarwal and Kasey Etreni and Mayor Ken Boshcoff vote against.

Yes our City Council needs to reverse this as soon as possible, it is negatively affecting many downtown businesses, Go back to paid metered parking until 5 or 6 pm........!!!!!

There is absolutely NO NEED to change this intersection to a roundabout? Traffic lights work perfectly fine here ! This money can be spent in so many better ways! ! !

Why does this keep getting rehashed! This isn’t the first time Dawson Road residents have tried to get relief from truck traffic, truck traffic that has been using the Dawson Road bypass for decades, long before houses were built. Dawson Road WAS built as the bypass so trucks didn’t have to go through the city and the long trip around through Kakabeka. So the trucks have to drive through kakabeka instead! It’s an old story of build a road for a specific reason and houses get built then residents become agitated by the trucks because the residents didn’t do the due diligence. Knock it off! If you don’t like living on a truck route, MOVE!

The democrats lost for a variety of reasons. Americans were deeply dissatisfied with a brutal economy. They just like to keep spending money and driving up the national debt. And for the past four years, Democrats pushed every radical, nauseating far-left ideological position they could—and Americans were just done with it......Hmmmmm sounds like our Liberal party here in Canada.

There have always been affordability issues for people and housing, I am a single mom have been for many years, have 4 successful happy adult children. But I worked very very hard to provide for them. I purchased a home years ago and had to work a second evening job a few nights a week to make ends meet! That’s how life works…..work hard, get ahead….

Such a bad decision to do this….poor businesses downtown…..no parking for their customers at all. Oh unless you just want to stop and park and wait and block traffic like everyone is doing now!

I get cancelling the busses, BUT the schools should have remained open! And if ya it's just the public board! Parents can drive their kids to school when busses are cancelled. There is no valid reason for closing the schools! The rest of us all have to get to work still, so teachers and school staff can go to work ! This is too disruptive and stressful to CLOSE all rural schools every time it snows! This wasn't the way things operated a few years ago! And really to close Norwester school! Ridiculous all students live with in a mile or two of that school! We should all call the Lakehead school board and tell them to smarten up!

It’s like they are trying to destroy downtown businesses! There is no parking down there now! I avoid going there because of the traffic situations!
