If you can afford to keep one of your properties vacant for a year while there's a serious shortage of living spaces; then you can afford to pay the Vacant Home Tax. Toronto and other Canadian cities have had a V.H.T. for a no. of years.

With the closing of the Peavey store at Silvercreek and Woodlawn, this would be a great relief to farmers especially. This is a Canadian owned and operated business. GREAT addition to Guelph.
