That’s the point: by the end of the year, you WON’T be a law abiding owner if you have one of these assault weapons. So if you can’t use it, why not hand it in and get some $$ for it? Not silly.

If you take the blinders of party-politics off, you have to admit that Carney has moved the Liberals to the centre, including less regulation, less taxes and less bureaucracy. At this rate, the Cons are going to have to wait a while to form a government

ICYMI: One in 20 local automated tickets challenged in court

Such a rush to judgment by many in these comments, as usual.We challenged a ticket, thinking the charge was running straight through a red light. We were turning right and photo shows that. What photo didn’t show (& nor did accompanying ticket explain) was the cameras caught that ours was an incomplete stop before turning right. Once arrived at court house and received all of these details, fine was paid. I wonder if more detailed tickets would reduce the number of “challenges”’.
