28A thought ... mention was made of some school kids having made sandwiches ... perhaps that could be done as an ongoing project by the schools around Guelph? Yes, it leaves a gap when kids are gone for the summer ... but .... where there's a will, there's a way ... and not all kids leave town and are looking for something to do! An alternate plan could surely be put together.Food Safety is a concern, I understand ... and it should be for each and every one of us in our personal lives too.Keeping that in mind, but focusing it to The Bench ... while Public Health is requiring the food to be made in certified kitchens ... what is PH doing to ensure that once the food leaves the certified kitchens that it is properly handled and stored? How long is it sitting around without refrigeration? or heat? ... or sitting out in the open in this heat? THAT might be a bigger concern and risk for all concerned than the uncertified home kitchen and food handler!!!
