How many have you taken in Risen? Answer is probably zero. Your argument is absolutely ridiculous. Not many people would take homeless people into their own home for a variety of reasons, not lack of compassion or wanting to help, but for safety issues, financial, lack of space, etc. A lot of homeless people experience addiction, and who would want people bringing harmful illegal drugs into their home. A lack of hygiene because where would they wash. They are desperate and perhaps they may steal from the homeowner in order to purchase said narcotics. Of course not every person is like that, but statistically it's higher than the average person. There are many ways to help those less fortunate without having them inside your personal residence. Donating money, food, time, clothing, and any other items people experiencing homelessness would need. It's not up to private citizens to be taking care of them, though many do a lot to genuinely help them. The government needs to step in.

Wow another delusional ignorant bigot. Get help. Get educated. You're clearly lacking the mental capacity to think for yourself and blindly follow one of the worst administrations.

& Shame on you for thinking we think less of those of those who served for our rights and freedoms. Unfortunately in this economy people can't just take off work to attend the ceremony but that doesn't mean we don't care and to think like that is ignorant. People aren't just putting profits ahead of those who served, they are hard working class people, who without working can't provide for their families, which is exactly why those veterans fought for us. We all pay respects in different ways, and even if we don't necessarily celebrate Remembrance Day, doesn't make any of us less deserving of having a fulfilling and happy life.

Do you not realize how much business films and television shows filmed in the Sault brings? I've worked on quite a few here and it's great for our city. It employs a lot of local people. Hotels get used for housing for out of town crew and actors. Restaurants for food. Locations around town used for filming. A wide variety of stuff. People try and knock it without fully understanding it. It brings a lot of money into our city. Yes some of the money might not stay local, but those businesses that aren't local do employ local people. Yes we have a problem with our healthcare system, always have, but discrediting a legitimate business like film making in our city isn't going to help.

As a resident of Midtown Residental and one of the individuals in the article, I'm glad more light is being shone on this issue. Nobody should have to live like this. Nobody should have to deal with a leaking roof, black mold, bed bugs, rats, cockroaches, basically unsafe and hazardous living conditions. This has been going on for several years, and it's only getting worse. SID management needs to be held accountable for everything that's been happening here. There are several articles online to show their history of how they neglect their own properties, and how they treat their tenants. It's deplorable. There are several issues not even talked about in the article, like how back in July the power was shut off for several days because they didn't pay their electricity bill and no one was doing a thing about it, until I called around the city, finding a solution. Every tenant here deserves to not have to live in these conditions. We aren't animals, we are people.

Because they have no regards for their safety or the safety of others. They are entitled and ignorant to the fact that many people get killed because of their selfishness.

The person/people disliking this is definitely one of those people who disregards people's lives. How sick. Grow up.

I got to work on this episode when it was filming here. It was a great experience. Looking forward to finally watching it!!
Tell me what education you have to make those claims? I'm sure people who've actually went to school have more intelligence than you in that area. Don't quit your day job.
