Lane clearing would be less costly if those silly curb stop barriers were removed.

For top lift of paving and line painting? This is unacceptable! It could be done with lane closures only and in half the time.

Anyone who thinks the reformatory lands would make a good national park does not understand what constitutes a national park.

This bylaw quite possibly will discourage the planting of trees. I have four or five qualifying trees on my property which I planted myself. We all have enjoyed the benefit of those trees over the years. I have no need nor desire to remove them but this bylaw makes them a potential liability in that it seeks to punish me for planting them in the first place should I choose to no longer have them. While I appreciate the intent of the bylaw I also see it as government overreach. City council should ask if there is a present problem with excessive private tree removal. I suggest that there isn’t, in which case this is a restrictive bylaw seeking to address a problem that doesn’t exist. We were almost exactly here when the current bylaw was passed and the answer at that time was that no such problem existed.

13 years!!! The last time the downtown streetscape was redone (to the Bill Coates design) the work took approximately two years, if my memory serves.

I’m not a transit user and I fully support you on this one Adam. It’s about fairness and creative imagination.

Thank you Danny. It’s people such as you who inspire people like me to strive to do better.

Perhaps it has to do with the bureaucratic culture or hiring practices rather than the politicians. This has been going on for years.

It’s largely a plantation established by Dr. Zavits as a research project.
The city might consider expropriating property where there is concern about neglect.

This man is one of Guelph’s treasures
It’s always about the traffic. It’s my observation that grocery stores generate significant traffic too.
