There have been a lot of strong feelings on facebook running up to the election - anger, contempt, disrespect. Anger on social media is a sign of the times, nothing more. Had the election gone a different way, it would be another group that's disappointed/angry. I would suggest it's up to every one of us to dial it down, if we care about our city. A comment attributed to Leanne in this article: "Bringing people together is the first order of business... " Hats off to you. That's a sign of a good leader in challenging times.Congratulations, Leanne!
