Virtue signalling at its best. Attention seeking at its best. You are not expected to buy anything when you go there. You are going there to do your job. The job you were elected to do. You do not have to spend one single penny while you are there. Its your darn job. Do it.
“The plan was always to hold it outside, not on the private property of the Tim Hortons,” she said.“We were already aware of the policy.”THEN WHY DID YOU DO WHAT YOU DID?
Thank you Terry Sheehan. For all the money our esteemed MP has secured for the port you can pick up a 1380 sqft home on Pentagon with nine grand to spare.
The complaining is ludicrous. The new owner has held season pass prices for last 3 years and continues to have capital improvements each year. The lift was damaged, the hill decided instead of spending money to fix something they were going to tear down begin tearing down now and get the new lift up ASAP. The entire hill is still accessible from the Goulais lift. The areas over towards the Quad will have snow making and grooming. The only two "slight" differences are that you can only go up the hill with 2 other people and you have to glide over to the Goulais lift. The current ownership has likely poured more money into that hill than they have collected. They are opening a month earlier than they used to. We have an owner committed to making that place rival any hill in the Midwest from skiing to eating to staying.
Its not a charity. It is there to make money. Skiing is not a cheap sport. A lift ticket at Boyne averages 100 us per day. A seasons pass is 1100 US. The skiing at searchmont s far superior than there.
Maybe just maybe give educators and administrators the authority to properly deal with offenders. The majority of our young people don't suffer real consequences outside of their own homes.
It is treated. Not raw. Just like in the city. Environmental studies and engineering is already done. Right now everyone who lives out there dumps into septic systems. So raw sewage in the ground. Treated effluent is better.
I will bet you that if a private business ran the NCC, they would not get away with the parking spaces there. Too tight and lanes too narrow. Almost have to do a 3 point turn to get out of a spot.
So stupid. Buy the building, tear it down. Building was torn down with snow on the ground. They wait until one week before the intersection becomes a gong show to make a bigger gong show. How smart are the people that run this department?
What a waste of taxpayer dollars in our country with a city with under 75000 people..4 school boards, 4 sets of trustees , 4 sets of office staff (granted FI and French based in Sudbury). 4 sets of buildings, 4 groups of teachers, 4 bussing contracts. The ultimate guide on how to waste taxpayer dollars. All the services and/or curriculum could be serviced through one school board, less buildings less staff.
