9It’s a shame that these people can flaunt their high salaries paid for on the backs of pensioners who are struggling to make ends meet on CPP and OAP. Isn’t it time we published how much pensioners are struggling on to make ends meet. It’s about time government got it’s head out of the sand and recognized that pensioners are people too, and we have to pay our way on way way less than these Sunshine List people.

Steep section of Harvie Settlement Rd. to be closed through winter
OrilliaMatters 3I lived on Harvie Settlement Road for 10 years. When the council made the decision to close the road at Old Barrie Road this was a big mistake. The hill was as dangerous back then as it is now but council closed the wrong end of the road. The hill at Diana Road is no better than HSR I have witnessed tractor trailer’s sliding backwards while trying to go up the hill. Some bad planning went on when the West Ridge development was planned.
