The only reason the hotels do so well is because of all of the out of town people who are here for medical or sports usually. You cant use people coming here for medical appointments as proof the city isn't dying.
It really must be nice to not have any accessibility issues. I really hope none of you ever have to experience that smh Tell the person in a wheel chair its no big deal for them to have to go to a intersection to cross.
Even though i do agree that some TB retailers will suffer,Costco is unionised and a pretty good employer! What about the Lithium plant being built? that will also bring in the jobs your talking about! V'Ville demo isnt about extending a benefit. Its about getting rid of something that is costing the tax payer way to much money for upkeep. I do agree with you about development charges though.
Going on the list and expecting them to find you something is the issue. Be pro-active and look for one. You would have had a family doctor by now. I waited almost a year and a half on the list and then went and found one myself.
The parkade in Victoriaville first floor is constantly packed with almost nowhere to go but to the second floor. I am not sure where Aldo is getting his info from but most city staff are not working from home, that's just the management that mostly gets that luxury. The City staff dont want to pay the ridiculous rates and are parking further and further from the parkade, not because of work from home.
Wise Owl, so when PP was going to get rid of the carbon tax that was something completely different then buying votes right? Just because it was a provincial election, it was still the conservatives buying votes. PP and Dougie, whether they want to be or not, are in the same party smh
There is literally a Dental Office, Hearing Clinic, Foot ware & Orthopaedics just on the other side of McDonalds. Everyones so focused on fast food, cant seem to see the other buildings & Businesses. So many assumptions. Cant imagine an older person living in those apartments needing any of those things...
