The "100"year old trees were cut down years ago due to dutch elm disease, the lindens were planted to take their place in the late 70's early 80's. Glad they are putting oaks in which they should have done 40 years ago. Remember the huge ones near the corners that rotted out in the center but stayed standing, the local "wino's" used them for shelter.
