That explains why Bayview residents could actually sleep this week! Noise was finally tolerable.

Shocker! Who would've thought there would be accidents? First they turn a 4 lane road to a 2 lane road, which makes everyone speed to get to the intersection first, then take out the lights when people are blocking the road trying to turn left onto Goulais ave, slowing all traffic and causing people to take chances! This is a BIG mistake! A "study" is such a poor choice of words!

The money that is collected for property taxes should be plenty to hire competent snow removal, and road repair personnel. both of those workers need to do better. I saw them "repairing" a couple roads this week. One guy tossing asphalt into a hole and letting the cars pack it down.

I have applied for a tag since I started moose Hunting in 1997. I was successful drawing a bull tag in 1999 and I filled my tag. Since 1999, 26 YEARS AGO, I have not drawn a tag even though I've applied every year. The problem with the moose population is from illegally killed moose, or excessive harvesting! NOT from honest hunters that hunt by the rules!

We are northerners. Brought up eating meat. Didn't think that would work here.

I hope the hub trail extension doesn't just turn into another tent city.

Horrible job! Keeps spending our money on ridiculous ideas. Bike lanes on every road and slowing traffic is Not a good plan. The city planner should have to sit and watch the intersections that they changed, and see the mess they've made.

$4000 multiplied by EVERY HOUSE IN TOWN! I think the city can afford it!

The plows scraping bare pavement and knocking dinner plate sized pieces of asphalt into the snowbanks sure doesn't help! ...I'm sure this comment won't be posted, just like all my others tho.

I'm sure the sidewalks will be open for pedestrians. They'll just be throwing loose asphalt in some of the holes.

Maybe the city (Shoemaker) should be putting some money aside for extra plows and workers when there are days like these? So much money has been wasted lately!

The lights work and they aren't making the city go broke by the electrical cost! What's the point? People are getting in accidents and getting hurt by taking them out for testing.

Yes, the explosion is from an error, not something they know is going to happen.

Exactly what my comment was yesterday. Stop making all the roads skinnier for bike lanes and then not plow them till there's only one lane left!

It's one of the main intersections in the mornings when all the plant workers are changing shifts. Lights make it safe! Children will be crossing that area to get to the park and Manzo pool, splash pad. What is the point? Korah road intersection is now a nightmare too! Every car that wants to turn right up Korah, has to sit and wait for the light because one person is going straight! The city planners should be fired!

Where does the city mean by "maintained roads"?

Yeah it's boxing day... but we can still get upset when people vandalize a beautiful trail.

Just leave. You can't be trusted. You will always put yourself and Trudeau first ahead of Canadians.
