My neigbour had a granny flat and I don't particularly give a st about other countries cultures. I give a st about the culture we had. You know, back when everyone sewed Canada flags on the backpacks or put Canada stickers on their luggage because we were proud. Now we're just part of the great global soup.
Tighter family connections means less homelessness. I agree. Hence the systematic destruction of the nuclear family in the last two decades. It's not just poorly thought out policy. It's intentional.
