Don't take it from my tax bill because I don't support it. I'm sure those who do support it won't mind covering my portion. I think paying $7400 a year gives me the right to opt out!

Tina, nothing is affordable to seniors who get the max Canada pension and old age security for a total of$1433 + $740=$2173 per month.A one bedroom apartment in Guelph rents for $2000 per month that leaves you $173 a month to eat, clothe and cover any other expenses. The builder isn't the problem it's how and where the government spends our money. They care more for the people that come in than the people that have contributed to making Canada the best place in the world!

Build them in the north end please! The south end can't handle the traffic now!

Guelph will vote Green,NDP or Liberal and then wonder why the surrounding areas that voted conservative got new hospitals.

What actually happened

The Ideal location for a new hospital would be on the north east corner of Victoria Road and Stone Road in the middle of Guelphs population centers, south of Stone Rd and east of Victoria Rd

Guelph is not alone, it's now common place in most urban centers in Ontario.Root cause analysis will show anyone who has eyes that over immigration in the last 5-10 years is out pacing any infrastructure advancements. 5 million new Canadians requires us to build 1 million residences along with city infrastructure just to keep the status quo. This is a 12.5% increase in the population of the country which leads to a need for all the essential services like hospitals, schools, roads, cars/transportation, staffing which all gets paid for through different forms of taxing. The home supply issue is strictly a supply and demand problem. Greed plays a huge role but everyone is guilty of that we all want as much as we can get be it wages or trade in value on a car. Immigration is an important part of growing your country but it needs to be planned precisely and followed up on continuously so we as a city and a country can keep this the go to place for people wanting a better life.

Traffic control is non existent in the city. Their idea of traffic control is more traffic signals not access, directional, or timing based on speed. We constantly stop to do our share of polluting on Clair Road at Southgate when nobody is atthe light.... maybe some sensors are in order at some locations. This alone would dramatically reduce the average Joes greenhouse gas donation!

this will not happen until they elect a PC MPP like Kitchener and Cambridge did and look what their getting !All political parties patronize their supporters, why pay out to people who don't support your plans.

The have to leave the country. LOLNothing will happen just like the no bullying policy, a stern talking to, and then an other suicide by some poor kid let down by a society of cowards.
3
Immigration has a direct reflection on the number of homes available!5,000,000 immigrants take up 1,000,000 homesWould you build a city for 5 million without having utilities, healthcare and roads to handle the influx of people?

So many traffic lights that speed is a lot less of an issue than the pollution from idling cars at red lights. Breath deep city dwellers.
Over priced, just like the goods at the previous store!

Generally a fairly good job done throughout the year, but this time I feel they were a little late to the gate. If you start late it's hard to keep up. As much as I hate to deal with the snow we need to be plowing residential streets right back to the curbs not 6-8 feet away. It just causes issues for everyone trying to avoid on coming traffic especially when you get parked cars on the street as well.Keep up the good work and fine tune a little!
A huge thank you to all involved!
