Price of Pierre too expensive for Canadians, says NDP's Singh

Pierre doesn't wear a Rolex Jagmeet and many of us in Ontario remember the NDP days of Bob Rae. Where do you get off telling us that Conservatives are 'more expensive?'Not that his high and mighty self will read this.

Two points:1. 5 years max for the 'camp?' Baloney.2. To my fellow home-owning taxpaying residents of TBay, BOHICA.Next time we elect councillors, please take the time to review each of them in detail first.

Well a quick check on the front porch says it smells like a dump fire and the flag at the school says the wind is from the ENE. Windy.com confirms that for the region. So, either the prairies are NE of us and filled with plastic and waste food, or a nearby dump is on fire. Occam's razor. Anyone call the Shunia landfill to check?

I hope nobody was hurt.I really despise the hundreds of people who decided to drive to Hillcrest to rubberneck at some other family's despair. Pedestrians blocked traffic on Hill Street. I was returning from dropping my kids off at the movies and it took me 20 minutes to get from Oliver road to the crest of the hill. All because you wanted to get a good view of other's troubles. Total small town disease right there.

So people who were willing to spend thousands potentially on interior redecoration decided not to visit due to a $3 parking fee? Got it.

So can I write an sworn affidavit stating that none of my family will ever use this facility, will I get a refund on my taxes? Who am I kidding? So we pay for the '6000' who will use the facility. Let them pay for it.

8' tall 'privacy fence.' OK. Call it what you will but reading through the article my first thought was, "surrounded by water on two of three sides, what could possibly go wrong?"Prepare for to navigate the panhandlers when taking your kids to the movies or going to the Intercity Mall.

Diavik is closing. Pre-built camp. Lots of fishing and hunting opportunities. Full kitchen facilities. Plumbing, you name it. Oh, and no dealers.

Maybe, JUST MAYBE, the Police should put out a notice that their drone will be flying low and slowly over properties in such-and-such an area as part of an investigation. While many people might not see that notification, at least that is a move that will prevent homeowners (like myself) from taking issue with an unidentified drone that seems curious about my house.

$12M per year to service a campground? I'll bid on that contract.

I guess that it didn't occur to anyone associated with this story that maybe a few photos of this unique style of jewellery and the green boxes might help? Lots of jewellery comes in green boxes.

Anyone with a dissenting opinion to your own is alt right. Got it.

Publish the driver's name please, in each of these incidents.

Well apparently with all of this negativity, I'm wrong and the prairies are indeed full of old plastic and garbage. Either that or those who disagree have never smelled a forest fire.

So the attack from the seagull had nothing to do with his tripping?

One would think that the various 'town councils' would have sorted this out a while back. It's not like it was a surprise election. The blame lies on the communities in my opinion.

This old Infantryman sees two military aged males in that photograph. That judgement aside, I'll make it a point to bring my family around to their restaurant to support their family.

I was going to respond to your question of, "How long is 'temporary'" with some educated views from my world travels, but decided to leave it with a simple thumbs up.Some people just don't like to hear hard truths.

Hi Vince,Mining professional here with 35+ years of experience. I get the validity of the bulk of your arguments. I do have one question though, can you please put the technical report out that outlines how there will be no leakage of isotopes into the groundwater over the next 100,000 years? I get it that they have drilled the deposit and done permeability tests, how about grouting the holes they drilled through the 'bottle'? Is the cement or epoxy used to fill those holes good for 100k+ years?I get it that nobody cares about what happens 100k years from now, but what happens if the grout fails 50 years from now and those isotopes enter the groundwater? I would like to read the report and study the backgrounds of those who wrote it.

Another one. Did they not do their research?
