Honestly, shocking that the Conservatives even want to try running him back after he fumbled a surefire landslide so badly that they barely dodged a Liberal majority government.
@RR, if objective video evidence, *from the officer's perspective* no less, would give the accused means to "play the victim card," that means they *are* a victim.Everyone should be on board with body cameras: Police wouldn't have to worry about false accusations, and people with legitimate grievances would have evidence to back it up. Seems the only ones who would have a problem with it are the ones with something to hide.
Longtime2: Safe to assume that this "what's done is done, no sense dwelling on the past" position of yours takes November 11th off? Or is it every day but September 30th?
It "ruins it for everyone?" Is the parade really "ruined" because a volunteer came and handed you something with a smile instead of indiscriminately tossing handfuls of sugar off of a moving vehicle? Get some perspective. Even if you think it's overkill, it's laughably dramatic to suggest that the change "ruins it for everyone."
Why go through the theatrics of getting a pinky promise out of Ford? He's going to do what he always does, which is line pockets at the expense of others and wipe his feet (and parts beyond) on any agreements, promises, and treaties he has to to do it.If they were going to bend the knee anyway, they might as well have just done it without this impotent feigned resistance.
The point was to show that both the doctor and patient were mistaking the warning signs for acid reflux, not to suggest a connection between the medication and the heart attack.
