TBNewsWatch 45Boo hoo hoo if you were following the rules then there is nothing to worry about is there. They got pulled over BECAUSE they can’t follow simple rules that apply to all of us. You know like you can’t drink and drive , you can’t pass on a corner , you can’t pass a school bus when it’s pulled over has the arm down and lights are flashing , you can’t run a red light , you can’t do 40 km per hour over the speed limit and you MUST pull over for emergency vehicles when the lights and sirens are on. So many people think they are special and the rules don’t apply to them that is why there is so much carnage on our highways and road.

TBNewsWatch 46The 15-year-old was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm contrary to order, breach of judicial release order, breach of peace bond and two counts of breach of probation??Should be charged as a adult now and the 39-year-old woman from Thunder Bay, a 19-year-old man from Scarborough, a 21-year-old man from Scarborough should automatically get five years without parole for using a minor for the purpose of committing a crime.

TBNewsWatch 44Do the charges against the ex-chief of police and the board lawyer have anything to do with these tragic deaths or are the charges about something else? It seems as if the new chief and the chair of the board are taking this matter seriously. Yes there are trust issues but building of trust will not happen in a day it will take time and the new chief seem to be on a better path.Disbanding the service is not the answer as 99% of the new police will be former Thunder Bay police officers . They are having a hard time recruiting police as it is. Continuing education, holding people accountable for their actions and ensuring every tragic death is investigated thoroughly. The senior police officers need to hold those they supervise accountable , this starts from the chief down. If the investigation is substandard then send the investigation officers back out or remove them from the case and assign other officials and send the original offices back for more education.

In my 60 plus years this is not the same climate we had , you only need to watch the world news to see how devastating environmental disaster are. . They make money for Ontario , lots of money 2.5 billion a year and Ford wants to eliminate that for short term gain. Tell me another Provincially ran organization that brings in that kind of money? People foolishly believe that the price of booze will drop , it won’t drop until the provincial government drops the taxes on booze.

The NRA holds a lot of clout in the states , if they complain to trump enough maybe he will see the light. It’s not like there is a huge line up of boats and trailers filled with Canadian gas, booze and food waiting to cross into the States? When travelling in the states , something I won’t do now until the orange fool is out of office, the people are friendly, nice , welcoming but they seem to have the herd mentality of not being able to think for themselves. Ask yourself why does trump want a war with Canada? Why is Mrs Elon trump backing a conservative leader for prime minister? Why didn’t any other president think of this prior to trump if it’s beneficial to the US ? Like putin he is sadly mistaken thinking he can just walk in a take over Canada. Why would any country want to be part of the most hated country in the world? Ken you can sit with cap in hand , I won’t.

Having goods produced in third world countries was supposed to make prices drop . Companies buy tee shirts for pennies and sell them for the same price or more as always. The reason and the only reason prices are so high is CORPORATE GREED. We will see if Pierre Poilievre gets in and axes the carbon tax then all the prices in Canada should drop as it’s the carbon tax that everyone blames for high prices. The prices will not drop on groceries or gas as these greedy companies are now making record profits and they will not give that up. There is no one in the world Johnathan that can’t be replaced no matter what job they are doing .

TBNewsWatch 3We give money (taxes) to people that don’t lead every day. They lead the high life, they ignore public sentiment and do as they please. It was past governments got us into this mess by lying and cheating and not abiding by LEGAL agreements that were signed by them the government and now we are paying for their mistakes. First Nations want to work with other investors to help fight climate change, I don’t see that as a bad thing as what we are doing now isn’t working . Don’t let the colour of your skin cloud your thinking.

TBNewsWatch 13Walter how does the CEO of OPG deserve the wage he gets ? No one else can do his job? How does the labourers at OPG deserve to make over 100,000 a year and they can be replaced? The money the LCBO employees make is spent in Thunder Bay . If they make minimum wage then they will not have the buying power to buy cars , homes , etc in Thunder Bay . The LCBO and their employees bring in 2.5 billion dollars for Ontario . No other government ran entity does that . Let’s put it in corner stores and let companies pay their employees minimum wage because that’s what we really need is more minimum wage jobs. If you think the price of booze will drop you are sadly mistaken. It will not drop until there is no LCBO period. Ford will not do that as they bring in an irreplaceable amount of money for the Ontario government, 2.5 billion a year. He may be a fool but he’s not that stupid.

Of course that won’t happen and it doesn’t make sense but most illegal guns are either stolen or brought in from the USA . Do you propose we do nothing and embrace guns like the gun loving Americans that accept mass shootings as a way of life and think the answer is to arm teachers with guns …..until one snaps and has a whole classroom of victims but they could arm all the kids with guns? It’s still legal to own handguns in Canada you just can’t own an assault type weapon. But we’ve been through this before , look up the types of guns that are banned.

TBNewsWatch 28PABob Canadians have not been having enough kids to sustain the population. We average 1.75 kids per couple. The government gives a one time incentive of $10.000 per student for a lifetime so what’s that work out to? Six months of work, less depending on the job. These students are not here on a free ride. They are hard working , polite, respectful and decent people. And yes without them many places would struggle to stay open. They are not taking jobs from anyone they are taking jobs that many don’t bother to apply for as they feel it’s beneath them.
