One that realizes if you’re going to run on a slogan have a back up plan,you know like a platform or something along those lines. Poilievre had a commanding 24-percentage-point lead in opinion polls. Then Carney stole his axe the tax spiel and Poilievre was speechless . He didn’t release his platform until after the advance polls ? The platform release comes the day after advance polls close and less than a week before election day. Poilievre is the last major party leader to release his plan? Slow learners they originally lost to Trudeau because they ran on a slogan “ at least he’s got nice hair”. Now before you start , I have voted for every major party in Canada based on the candidate, not the party. This time I voted for who I thought would be the best person for Canada like I do every time.

TBNewsWatch 45Boo hoo hoo if you were following the rules then there is nothing to worry about is there. They got pulled over BECAUSE they can’t follow simple rules that apply to all of us. You know like you can’t drink and drive , you can’t pass on a corner , you can’t pass a school bus when it’s pulled over has the arm down and lights are flashing , you can’t run a red light , you can’t do 40 km per hour over the speed limit and you MUST pull over for emergency vehicles when the lights and sirens are on. So many people think they are special and the rules don’t apply to them that is why there is so much carnage on our highways and road.

TBNewsWatch 44Do the charges against the ex-chief of police and the board lawyer have anything to do with these tragic deaths or are the charges about something else? It seems as if the new chief and the chair of the board are taking this matter seriously. Yes there are trust issues but building of trust will not happen in a day it will take time and the new chief seem to be on a better path.Disbanding the service is not the answer as 99% of the new police will be former Thunder Bay police officers . They are having a hard time recruiting police as it is. Continuing education, holding people accountable for their actions and ensuring every tragic death is investigated thoroughly. The senior police officers need to hold those they supervise accountable , this starts from the chief down. If the investigation is substandard then send the investigation officers back out or remove them from the case and assign other officials and send the original offices back for more education.
