Well, in a worse case scenario, it could always be used as a temporary homeless shelter…;(

People! Your money is worth more here in Canada. They are arresting numerous Canadians, some without even a criminal charge. You are finger printed and scanned for entry into a corrupt country. Be wise. Stay home (Canada)

Privacy fencing? Ahhh so they can continue inducing themselves with illicit drugs and nobody needs to see? You want to hide these encampments? Try Nets provincial park. There’s an island you can put them on.

So…encampments in laneways is acceptable and does not break by-laws? City parks with slides and swings and climbing equipment meant for transients and not children? How is it that there is a no trespassing after a certain time at the waterfront but everywhere else it becomes a ‘free-for-all’? I read stories through our country of cities that do remove encampments. We, the taxpayers, are becoming uncomfortable while this city spends our dollars, our resources, to ensure the homeless are comfortable? Just don’t get it

No more middle-income earners. There is now only the rich that can afford everything and the poor that can afford nothing. It will never stop.

Sure hope the judge is happy in their decision to release these criminals the first time around? To me, these ‘breaches’ indicate two things:1: A lack of respect for the law2: A lack of human intelligence

Condolences to the deceased’s family. Whether this was an interruption in a break and enter or not, this was a premeditated plan of attack, not an accidental one. This sick perp should spend years behind bars. No slap on the wrist and should be incarcerated for lots of years. I’d like to see the Premier of Ontario and his reaction to such a heinous crime. A home is a man’s castle and nobody should have the right to take that or the man’s life away! You are a sick individual and you will be caught!

Hold your ground, sir.

If this story is about Brian’s inability to run a business and tend to his curricular activities, could he not have chosen to entrust his employees with running the business? Just a question.

Missing teen sought by police
TBNewsWatch

I remember being 15. I remember not getting home at the times my parents asked. I don’t think it’s a parental thing every time a teen disappears from home. This isn’t a race issue. This an adolescent that could possibly be rebellious to parental rule. White, red, green or blue, we all should hope that they are okay. Finger pointing and claiming parents are the problem is the same as stating someone is guilty before being able to prove innocence. Not cool, people

By building these tall buildings and these multiple dwellings, aren’t we ignoring the fact that we are changing landscape which then changes the way the environment (weather patterns for one) behaves? What ever happened to the carbon footprint? Whatever happened to green space for animals and insects to thrive, for trees to create oxygen and filter our carbon dioxide levels? More people means more or a toxic environment across the planet

Manitoba introducing Bill 48. Ontario should look into doing the same. ‘“Who does the community belong to? It belongs to the people who make it work’”
14
We should waive all rules and regulations, all laws and bylaws, all social expectations for the homeless. They should get everything for free. Is that what the sympathetic hearts want? Handouts aren’t a very prosperous idea. It just keeps digging further and further into tax payers pockets. I know…I’m socially wrong on this point

What a coincidence! I, too, need $630 000 to complete my indoor tennis facility. It’s a Nintendo Switch and I only have to build a house around it ;)

Kill the issue

Is it inside out? For $650 000, this city will ensure that the homeless seagulls stay warm this winter (cause seagulls like the warm surface)

Condolences to all those effected by this tragic loss.

Maybe we could stop putting up 4-way stops and building congestive bike lanes to save money?
