Shouldn't people be encouraged to spend their money? Considering that is how a strong economy operates. If it is one dollar or 3 million dollars who cares? Most people work in industries that require people to spend their money.
Invest 3 billion making 8 percent will bring in 250 million. Invest that into more doctors. Now we can afford to hire over 900 new doctors paying each one over 1/4 mill per year. Just an idea.
Regardless of how much money one individual has we all individually have the same benefits. We all drive on the same roads, attend the same schools, visit the same hospitals, are protected by the same military/police/fire departments. The most effective way to generate more taxes from billionaires is to encourage them to spend as much as possible.A penny saved is a government's oversight.
Yep. Absolutely. I am a Ramara resident and I along most Ramara residents are responsible for paying for their own waste. A septic replacement can easily cost $30,000.
Most people in this world like to have a place to call home. Aggregate is an important material required to build those homes. Not to mention schools, hospitals, fire halls, police stations, the roads that connect all these buildings. Aggregate is in every infrastructure project unfortunately it needs to come from somewhere.
We live in a free country where any reasonable adult should have the freedom to enjoy a drink in the park. The same country where there are consequences for abusing our freedom. Make the fine large enough for these abusers so they won't do it again. Those who abuse our freedom should not take away freedom from others. Plan and simple.
Just do what Harris did and sell off our public assets to balance his common sense revolution budget. The 407 is now worth over $30 B and would have had a net profit of over $17 B over the last 37 years. Sounds like perfect common sense to me.
