It is moving to be combined with the other Ford dealership. This will be more efficient; now we will have 1 dealership for each BIG-name brand, which makes good business sense.
Did you not read the article? They are growing. Maitland will be bringing over the staff from Highland. We do not need 2 Ford dealerships in this small town.
The reason they were phased out is 1) the high cost for a professional team to create, and 2) the unpredictability of the weather Great idea if the community wants to volunteer to do this around town, but the carnival cannot afford the professional carvers' costs. Bon Soo is a not-for-profit sustained by event ticket admission from button sales and sponsorships.
Not sure where you are getting your information from, but it is incorrect!!! Doctors pay their staff, office expenses, and very high malpractice insurance premiums, and many also have student loan debt from med school. It's not all free and clear $.
For public safety, they were closed. If the weather conditions do not cooperate, rain and warm temperatures literally melt the snow and ice, therefore jeopardizing the integrity of the slide structure, making it unsafe. So many critics, without understanding that this carnival is 100% volunteer-planned and run, and it does not happen overnight either. They are always looking for volunteers to join the board and help plan and run the carnival.
Life is good - let the parents try to sue, I would charge the child with assault then, hold the parents accountable. This is so getting out of hand, and people are just making excuses for it. Enough... Violence is never acceptable and is illegal, period. This needs to stop, not be normalized.
100% agree! Kind of ridiculous, and not helpful to someone who wants to invest in our community, employ local people, and provide a service where there is a need. Come on City Hall, do better!!
