Why not move Mr. PG across the road to the other corner in the casino parking lot? It would make more sense as it would be a permanent location whereas the tourist/info centre will most likely be moving again in the next few years!! Tourists are always parked in that area and would also be a more favorable location for the visitor centre.....
Cell phone service is not going to bring the killer(s) to justice (althogh it is a step forward)- a reward to convict the perpetrator(s) is more likely to bring about justice for the missing and/or murdered women and girls! SOMEONE WILL TALK FOR A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF MONEY!
Sounds like this officer is a prime candidate to fix our judicial system, either provincially or federal. We had one former officer represent the area but didn't do anything! Congratulations on retirement!!!!
The dealer if convicted, will get a slap on the wrist! Murder should be the charge against the dealer, especially when fentynal is involved. But, as always, his (her) upbringing, as is usually the case, will get the accused scot-free!
Zangief - agree totally! On another topic, it seems that tailgaters don't seem to understand the consequences if the vehicle in front of them has to come to a sudden stop!
My biggest fear is the tailgaters! A vehicle was about 20 feet behind me coming into PG in the evening when I noticed a deer trying to cross the road. I jammed on my brakes and missed the deer! How a rear end collision was avoided I will never know unless the driver behind me has automatic braking! The point is - stay a safe driving distance until it is safe to pass!
At long last, a politician has spoken out about the deadly drug- fentanyl! Pierre Pollievre has promised to do something drastic about the drug! It's about time!!!!!Hopefully, it's a start to get rid of this Nonsensical way of dying!
If I remember correctly, an MP representing this riding was residing in the Okanogan and nowhere to be seen in Prince George. I agree - there should be guidelines to prevent a recurrence.. .
"Arrest made after teen dies of overdose". That headline in today's Citizen should be happening more often. Drug dealers are literally getting away with murder! The only problem is that the accused, if convicted, is allowed to go with a slap on the wrist and return to doing the same thing again!!!
