Esther - he is going to remove the carbon tax as its currently exists and then wants to implement a new one. He is not for getting rid of a carbon tax, he was the one that pushed Trudeau to implement one.

In my experience in life when someone puts up a stink and says there is nothing to see here, there is usually a dirt pile they don't want uncovered... Most people would say I have nothing to hide, here you go. Some of you may have seen whats going on in Dalton Illinois right now and oh the stuff they have been trying to hide... So I say keep digging sootoday, if they are squirming there is probably something there to find... If there truly is not, well you did your jobs as journalist anyway asking the hard questions...

Its time Ontario does the same. The law has been already passed (Time Amendment Act), we are just waiting on New York and Quebec to agree to the change too. But since they can't get their act together we should just press ahead with the change too and let them catch up when ever they decide to get their act together.

POLL: Mostly, we really hate the time change

We need to keep the summer time year around. This would give us an extra hour of light to like 6pm in the winter. I would rather go to work in the dark than to have more light early morning. Some people want to have the winter time year around, but if we did this in the summer than the sun would be coming up at like 4am... I already have enough problems trying to sleep, I don't need sunlight at 4am...

I think there will be an election before a pipeline ever gets built. Carney has failed to deliver anything so far, his whole thing about being that the government was going to move at rates never seen before, just has not happened. The fact that it has come out that they had no plans for any nation building projects, thats why he had to meet with the premiers when he first took office, because they had no plans during the election. Trade deals are fine and all, but they are pretty useless if no business wants to take advantage of them. 75% of our trade is with the US so not having a trade agreement with the closest country and cheapest place to ship our goods is hurting more than helping... They have tried to paint the conservatives as fractured, but right now its the liberals that are fractured with carney trying to run things like a CEO and not a prime minister. Its his way or the hwy...

Canadians don't support prorogation, your parties downfall is not our problem. Changing leaders is not going to fix all the damage that the Liberals/NDP have done to this country. If you had watched his other interviews he has said he is going to get rid of the current carbon tax and bring back a new one. Don't kid yourself, he is the carbon tax King. He has pushed to implement carbon taxes around the world. He is going to get rid of the current carbon tax because PP has done such a good job of pointing out the holes in it. He blames PP for making people not like it by showing them the flaws in it.

I say keep on your current track, just keep the status quo because by the time you are done self destructing the party you won't even have party status. I can't wait till the liberal/NDP are gone. There are ridings with no conservative candidate that are projected to win conservative in a land side... Sheehan is projected right now for 3rd place with only only 16% of the vote, NDP are even ahead of Sheehan right now.

Strong Cowering Carney is really showing how he has no plans on anything. Its really nice that he lied to people that he was going to put tariffs on but then removed them on April 16th, just before the leaders debate. The main reason the US is putting tariffs on us is because of all the Chinese steel that is being dumped into our country... This has been a problem for 10+ years now and the liberals have done nothing but talk.Its nice we could be going to an election again really soon. NDP and Conservatives have both said they won't be voting for the throne speech, because it lacks any details... The block is going to be the decider and so far they are not in favour of the liberals either... Or they could form a coalition and form government. This would save everyone from going back to the polls and could actually get things moving again...

If your looking at the Ekos polls they are fudging the numbers. All the reputable polls show the conservatives still way ahead and the liberals are dropping back to where they were before trudeau quit. It was an expected artificial bump in popularity because there was change going to happen, but now they are starting to go back down. Longer he waits now to call an election the worse it will get for the Liberals.

You know where the NDP could not afford to pay public workers so he had to give everyone the day off multiple times...You must also have short term memory too because if you didn't see what happened when people voted in the NDP for the first time in Alberta, they went from having no debt to being loaded with debt after the NDP got kicked out. Not sure what you would consider Great... The bar must be pretty low.

I have heard the speeds are determined on the hwy by the fact if they have on/off ramps and if they have driveways directly connecting to them. There is a bunch of driveways connected, but I would like to see them increase it to 110km/h even if it was a trial to see if there is any major accident changes... But there are a lot of drivers who can't even do 90km/h at this point. I got stuck behind one going to blind river yesterday doing just under 70km/h... Like get off the road at that point or let people pass. Your a danger to everyone going too slow.
