You are absolutely correct. The old Eatons building would have been perfect. It is right downtown, already made, and sitting empty except for the bottom floor, but no.Maybe it can be turned into condos.
I'd like to see an NDP government. For 158 years we have essentially been a two party system. I have been a voter for over 50 years and as far as I can see, one hasn't done better than the other. It's time for a change.
Not quite. Singh was the one that forced the Liberals to give us a free dental program. The next time you go to the dentist and it doesn't cost you a thing remember this.
The problem isn't with CUPW the problem is that Canada Post had a year to negotiate and did nothing in the hopes that any stike would lead to a return to work order, and it has.Shame on Canada Post.
The real question is will this result in tickets and fines for all the red light runners in this town? If so, then I'm all for it, if not, then it is just another waste of money.
Hope for the best and plan for the worst. Dealing with the US is never easy, (think decades of softwood disputes), and with the unpredictable president down there we shouldn't lose sight of how all Canadians have come together with excellent plans for bonding Canada together for the better.Whatever the outcome I hope we never forget how fast things can change, and we must be prepared for those changes.I am thankful and proud to be Canadian.
Simpson St. needs all the inprovements it can get. I wish investment folks would do more there. It is sad to see so many closed and run down places. There is more to T Bay than intercity.
I bet most of these of these negative, whining posters aren't bowlers, they just like having something to complain about.Perhaps you wouldn't be so constantly pessimistic if you got off the couch and went bowling.
