Please keep her far away from a police board. She has shown multiple times to display poor decision making abilities for city council. Diversity is great, if there is people qualified for the work. In that case, it should go to the best candidates... diversity for the sake of it is counter productive.

He didn't ask to be spoke to. He didn't ask to have a camera in his face. He was trying to leave or head into work and they stuck bunch of donuts and media in his face at #2 gate. Fair game for Kyle to say what he did, was pretty tame in comparison to what his actual thoughts were I would imagine. If they don't want the opinion of an employee, don't videotape random employees on company property. Simple.

If I needed to find a group to make a large financial decision, I'd be going to the opposite direction of the current council and city hall. Let a slumlord hold up development for over a decade and reward him with 4.75 million. Way to show em.

As someone who bikes a few times a week. Just invest in the hub trail and make more branches for accessibilty around town focal points. Make a dedicated bike system around town that is safe. It's cheaper to invest in dedicated bike routes over changing streets to accommodate bike lanes and auto traffic.

To be able to spend 10 million of tax payers dollars without asking the people who sign your cheque's is wild. Shoemaker and Co. are so out of touch with the residents of Sault Ste. Marie. Hope everyone shows up to vote these frauds out of city hall.

Shoemaker cut his mic? This guy is finding new ways to lose support. Would love to know more about this friendship that can't be mentioned regardless of its relevance .

Bulldoze it and use it for something that is worthy of waterfront property. Malls are lame.

Algoma Steel is going to be bankrupt again shortly and population increased due to immigration being unchecked for way too long. What are you thanking him for?

Anywhere someone is scammed, Ferrari is not far. Guy is a rodent of the community.

Agreed, go anywhere in the world and they embrace history and build around it. Find ways to encourage tourists to want to visit our area and learn about the history of the Sault. It's short sighted to continue to look at aging buildings, memorials and infrastructure and replace them with parking lots. You can't get those things back once they are gone.

"Thrilled the prime minister could meet with workers" ... and not ask questions. Got it.

Stay on your side of heated sidewalk Mr. Ford.

Pavilion or bush plane museum, get some local bands, local breweries... make it an event.

Good, look forward to using it. Hub trail is a great investment for the Sault and it expanding will only do more to keep cyclists from needing to share roadways, safer for everyone. Cheaper to build bike paths than retrofit streets.

Do we really need more restaurants? People need to discover a cook book and a stove again.

Oh you bought up properties that had issues, the areas have drug problems, homelessness, run down neighboring properties ? Sounds like you tried to buy up cheap land and make those exact issues worse by being an even worse slum lord. Cry me a river, the city needs to stop giving these losers the free run of the city.

Holy softer than Charmin this council.

Yep, clearly no leadership to allow one member to get the spotlight like this and have the entire community behind the council member in question and double down against him. Over what? Bad look for the city as a whole.
