Imagine that,”he will remain in custody until his next court appearance” How often do you ever hear that,usually they are let go until next court appearance.
OMG,a Nova Scotia judge,but they do it here too.Lenient sentences,to allow them back on the streets to continue the same life style.Who will be his next victim.How is this even happening.
What a farce the justice system has become,they need to lengthen the time frame to avoid having these criminals going free after having been the enabler of how many overdoses and possibly deaths.
All I can say is OMG! If there is no supervision for his daily meds who knows what could happen next.He must remain in a controlled environment to protect others.
Trust the city to mess things up,the SPCA provides an incredibly valuable service to this area.You have to wonder about the reasoning of the people that decided this.They have no problem whatsoever in giving themselves unwarranted pay raises.I guess they think it makes them look good by saving a few bucks.
A sign of the times and our health care system.I saw Dr.Higgins at the clinic in Spruceland many years ago.I tried to become one oh his patients,but he was’nt taking on new patients.I felt he was a very caring person.
