Why would they care about the hockey team? Successive City Councils have been dying to show off a performing arts centre in the downtown to revitalize it and as long as the Cougars are around, who cares about the Spruce Kings, who have been in this town over 20 years more than the Cougars and have overcome hurdles with distances, a decrepit arena and having to be in the middle of the cesspool that is downtown to make a successful franchise in a very competitive league. As long as they get the PAC, nothing else matters

This government is run by its urban environmental wing and their idea is to stop any natural resource extraction any way possible. With the land act fiasco, their idea was to use the FN to stop all extraction and if they didnt, they had a scapegoat. This government is by Vancouver, for Vancouver and run by stand.earth and Greenpeace

When the government of the day has 95% of its MLA's in urban ridings, the rural areas are left to rot. This government is full of people who are/were bigwigs in the environmental movement and believe that BC north of Kamloops should be one big park. 80% of them, including Ralston, couldnt find Prince George on a map and couldnt care less what happens in ridings that have opposition members. This government has been against almost every resource project planned for the interior and north in the past 7 years and attends resource forums under protest. The mining industry just had a large forum for the North called Minerals North and how many government MLA's were there? Zero! Yet have a celebration for the left handed blue eyed members of Greenpeace in Surrey and there will be a dozen MLA's from the NDP there. The Northern 2/3 of the province mean squat for the NDP

Court system states that Consent must be given to do anything on Crown land and until every single complainant is satisfied, they should mothball the entire operation
