"The faculty union has announced its intentions to hold a vote of non-confidence in college leadership in the new year." ... while that's fine and dandy it's not going to do a darn thing. They need to get rid of Tibbets - he's the problem and the entire board of directors and replace them all with fresh faces. Yes, Tibetts is retiring (finally) this year, but his mismanagement of the college and trying to make it a "billion dollar corporation" is what got Conestoga into this mess. End of the day Conestoga's mess all falls on him.

They're probably scared of Tibbets and what he would do to them if they spoke out against him. Usually when boards are silenced like this it's because it came from someone in a greater power or position that told them to keep quiet.
