Take a read in the news, there was a murder over the weekend at the Pearl St location , that unit was built BY …. The city / social housing etc, and there is constantly , destruction, assaults, police are there nearly daily. Who is going to manage these units? Certainly not the city, it is going to run our police thin! This is absolutely ridiculous, that this was even put toward to “resolve” homelessness, take a look around … who is working all the customer service jobs that normally teens would have over summer…. This many people did not become homeless over night, they are homeless due to job loss, ridiculous cost of housing and other factors.
