Rustad wants action against 'foreign interference' by environmental activists

Blah blah blah. Using the tariff war to pick on environmental groups is so petty. If this guy is one thing, he’s a is a climate change denier; and deniers gonna deny and they double down when they are wrong. But he could at least do it the old-fashioned way, not by hopping on the most popular bandwagon to ride the coat tails of other peoples actual effort. You didn’t get elected for a reason John, it’s time to retire the soapbox.

This is tragic, I was hoping she would run as an independent. So, PG is now left with only three conservative reps: one is an absolute wingnut who should be institutionalized, not be in a leadership role, one ex-military who thinks that’s going to give her the ‘experience’ she needs for this new job, and one wanna be military geek? Sounds like a three-legged race where they all faceplant two feet before the finish line.

Every time I see one of these fancy dumpsters on wheels, it ruins my whole day.

Pander pander pander, right at the buzzer. Don't fall for it again (see mayoral race, for reference) Prince George, use your brain.

Another win for unqualified people with no job experience. PG just doesn't learn.

Tell us you are a man without telling us you are a man. Until you have to choose between managing a bodily function (that is over priced, over taxed and you have no control over) or buying fuel, food or other basic needs for you or your family, please keep your opinion to yourself. The absolute least we can do as a society is make usure that children who menstruate have what they need to get through a day. Heaven forbid we feed them and clothe them too. But that is probably something you think is a waste of your precious tax dollars too, right Alt?Also, 'gender' is a social construct, but that is clearly too advanced a topic for you to grasp.

@Chestor: He didn’t get elected because people with higher education, critical thinking skills and a wider view of our common problems didn’t vote for him. The average conservative voter has no idea what the party plans on doing, they just see big shiny slogans and jump on the wagon of hate towards whoever they are told not to like. (see PP vs JT for more examples) Lazy, uninformed voters who get bribed with a carrot, then are confused when they are still hit with a stick is something I won’t be part of. (see DT vs KH for more examples) And “The map” just shows where the cons are and sure, they occupy a bigger space, but the power they think they have simply isn’t.

Shocking, to no one, that the most dysfunctional 'business owner' in Prince George can find the most dysfunctional lawyer in the country. They were made for each other, attracted like a fly to...

This 'political' party is an April fools joke.

As long as those modular homes aren't placed in the NIMBY's neighbourhood it's a-ok Yu?

By these comments it seems I won't have to wait in long lines for all these crotchety people who count out their nickels and dimes for popcorn anymore. Win win, thanks CN Center!

The irony of you typing this comment on a computer, or even better a mobile phone, is hilarious.

Nice to finally see some action from Yu. Interesting that it is happening in an election year.

How kind of him to invent a new award he can give to his friends out at Ness Lake.

If this story was set in December around a nativity scene, these comments would be vastly different. Sure, vandals run amok all over the place targeting private business’ and homes, but this is was targeted and planned out with intentions stemming from deep rooted bigotry and prejudice, not just random delinquency. That is why it is news. Just because you are not effected doesn’t mean it doesn’t affect someone, especially in a small town like Vanderhoof. Pride is only 30 days out of your precious, taxpaying 365. If you’re feeling so emotional about it maybe a conversation with the person in the mirror is needed, including the person in the photo, he clearly needs some help.

Blah blah Birdie wants to start off by limiting healthcare access to children? That's not what you were hired to do. Stop wasting time and money Bird. Local issues with local solution. That's your job. I'll see you at your town hall.

The venn diagram of people who read the original ‘article’ and thought it was believable and people who fall for those amazon gift card scams is probably a circle. If this is the kind of ‘journalism’ the citizen plans to keep in their media, perhaps they should just start a gossip column instead.
