I have to laugh. He's coming down on a shoplifter, while meanwhile, he's been ripping off our healthcare, education system, and environment for years. Actually, I'm not laughing...he's the bigger problem.
I had to laugh when I read that article. As far as I'm concerned, that camera belongs in the duck pond. I am not a proponent of speeding, but those cameras are indiscriminate when it comes to handing out fines. One over and you're on the hook for a payout. Totally wrong, and nothing more than a money grab. Kudos to whoever pitched it...
Litter isn't just a downtown problem. I cannot believe how many slobs just chuck the likes of fast food containers, coffee cups, and pop cans out of their car windows. How hard is it to put them in the trash when you arrive at your destination. Shame on you..!!
Most people have already had enough of the Cons without this litter overkill. If we have to tolerate them, let them be a ubiquitous reminder of who NOT to vote for....
I remember being so angry at what Kathleen Wynne was costing the Ontario taxpayers. Fast forward to this incompetent, shady CONservative premier, and her actions pale in comparison. Doug Fraud is outspending her by billions. He's gotta go...!!
Customs should start charging duty on ALL goods purchased by returning Canadians. This is no time for exemptions. T rump has declared a financial war against Canada, and we should respond in kind. If you still want to buy your milk and beer in Michigan....pay the piper on your way home, or better yet....if it's so great over there...please stay. You are not acting like a Canadian anyway...
Let's assume that a new sculpture will make us a more distinctive and more desirable place to visit. OK... I'm just kidding....it won't.... especially when it's a snowflake. That would be representative of just about anywhere north of the 49th.... and It would be an expensive joke. SNOWFLAKE CITY.... no thanks....fix the roads...!!!
No new waste of tax dollars will entice me to shop downtown until the safety issue is addressed. Clean up the derelicts, or we will continue to lose more businesses. My bank is on Queen Street, but fortunately I have an alternate location and option to meet my needs.
