As the rates are lowered, more and more people will get sick and more and more people will die or end up in hospital. There's the personal cost of sickness and the economic cost for businesses and the economy, and the Provincial Health care.The interchange on 338 he said. "so that we can move the project into our next budget year or the year following and actually get shovels in the ground." Today we are 2025/26 budget year, next is 26/27 and the 'following" is 27/28 which means the work will start in 2028 or later.

OkotoksToday 3It keeps getting pushed back. I had checked previously and it was supposed to happen early next year. Money keeps being mentioned for the delay. Obviously, Smith and the UCP are spending the money on their pet projects like their provincial Police Force that is not needed or wanted, endless commissions and surveys on Separation, and trips to woo Trump. That trip did nothing for Alberta or Canada.The UCP has to start working for real Albertans not the fringe one.

City of Calgary looks to annex land from Foothills County
OkotoksToday 4Well I hope somehow that the City has to fix some of the problems that are affecting County and Okotoks residents. Specifically, we have to deal with all the traffic on Macleod Trail. Overpasses have to be built at 194 Avenue. Calgary has in the past put a special infrastructure fee on lot sales to finance interchanges on Macleod Trail.I'm tired of traffic light on a Provincial Highway that only benefits developers.
