Carney loves taking credit for the work of others. What else can Mark Carney plagiarize?

Doubt it. Once Pierre has won, Legacy Media will turn him into Trump of the North. They will sensationalize and villainize everything he tries to accomplish to no end. Liberal Judges that have been installed over the past 10 years will attempt to overturn every decision. The Left will go after Pierre ruthlessly and violently. The political garbage has only just begun.

The Legacy Media polls lie, just like they did in the US for Kamala.

These things are horrible. Little to no traffic and the pedestrians always seem to wait there (drivers think they're just letting the vehicle go past first) then push the button when the vehicle is right at the line causing the driver to have to slam on the brakes. How about 10 seconds of warning to traffic after the pedestrian has pushed the button?

I will never forgive this health unit or our governments for the way they acted for 3 years. People were thrown out of society because they weren't sick. The government supported and created a 2 tiered society, turning family and friends against each other. School bus involved in crash
TBNewsWatch

School bus drivers are under far too much pressure in this city. The driver's schedules are way too tight to be safe. If you don't complete your run on time you don't get paid for the extra time it takes. STSTB needs to start prioritising student and driver safety. Are the school boards holding the STSTB management accountable for all these accidents or do they just take the easy route and blame the drivers?

It's already bought and paid for. This is all just theatre. Would have been smarter to stop buying US alcohol but still sell what was on the shelves like Alberta is doing. LCBO should have been able to continue to fulfill orders already placed for bars and events but they're not. Instead Doug Ford is throwing a little temper tantrum and shutting it all down at once.

Thank you Wise owl. Nice to see some common sense posts on here. You'll never get the 8+ times vaccinated people to admit the truth though.

Don't get too excited. Our Council will figure out a way to mess this up somehow.

Safety trumps everything now! What if someone got an owie an ouchy or a booboo because of the snow? Then how would you feel?

They do have access to smaller buses, they are just lacking any kind of actual management. If the school board can use taxis then the school board could also contract "Lift" to get kids to school for $3.25 each way per day. 86 students x 194 instructional days x $6.50 = $108,446. There, I just saved the school board $316,554 per year.

Rock - My kids and I did all those things (including going to school) while living in another, more "open for business" province with no face diapers on, and never got COVID. We did not change any routines what so ever and still survived. Explain.

LMES - 2 weeks of diapers from 2 kids is going to be mighty smelly in the garbage.

You have to create an account to do, what is supposed to be, an anonymous survey. No thank you. Make your surveys truely anonymous, then maybe you won't only get the same 50-250 people participating in your surveys.

There's 8 people living in this house. 2 will still be in diapers when this rolls out. Property taxes are over $6500 now. We don't have sidewalks, they never plow our street, no street lighting. We have 2 recycling bins and we over fill them every time plus cardboard to the side. We fill 2 big cans of garbage at 39.5 lbs every week , plus a Shuniah dump card and we have 2 compost bins going. I propose that for every $2000 in taxes paid you get a garbage bin. 3 bins seems much more reasonable but it still needs to be weekly or things will be mighty smelly round here. Never made sense to me that a family paying $6500 in tax can only put out the same amount of trash as a single person paying $2000 in property tax.

Gary22 - while signed into your survey, just make sure you don't say anything negative or bylaw may be at your door. Hoping to get that building permit approved? Delay, delay, delay, denied.
