Guaranteed that $28,000,000 total will balloon another 50% to at least $42,000,000+ that this city can not afford because (insert excuse) "cold and flu season", "tariffs", "no one wants to work" affected supplies. One thing is for sure, we're not getting any more money from the feds or province so stop now while our heads are still above water. I can't swim at the moment as my elbows have been up so long waiting for an amazing trade deal. Something I've learned through trial and error is never keep throwing good money at bad investments. You might as well just throw your money into the wind. Stop as soon as you can.Municipal debt and increasing tax rates are not good contingency plans. Stop the bleed now and shut it down. Many other municipalities are going through their city neighbourhood by neighbourhood replacing all the lines at once instead of trying to push the responsibility on to individual homeowners. The city knows it's their responsibility, that's why they're providing the PUR water filters.

I appreciate that Tbnewswatch allows for more discussion and sharing of differing opinions. I used to find that there was a bit too much censorship on Tbnewswatch. However, since Elon bought, what is now X, Tbnewswatch seems to be allowing more discussion from differing viewpoints, which is great.I do not find vet's comment to be at all disrespectful and maybe vet was just joking (cops and donuts has been a long standing joke as donut shops used to be the only thing open during the night shift so officers would often go there on break and for some officers that trend continues to this day) or maybe this is vet's actual opinion. Either way the comment was constructive and respectful. "I may not agree with what you say, but i will defend to the death your right to say it".
