Could the city hire its way out of the family doctor shortage?
SooToday 7Looks good on paper but with a city-run medical clinic I'm sure there would still be many folks without a Doctor. So now they still have no Doctor but are paying higher taxes to pay for the city-run medical clinic. Let's not reinvent the wheel and let the province off the hook for health care and let's not get into a situation where we will be competing with larger cities that could offer more too attract doctors and make our Doctor shortage problem even worse.
