I’d like to think this is about the safety of the community but statements like this “ Based on an estimated $60 a ticket, the plan would generate $1.2 million a year in revenue.” make me reconsider…wonder who the three new employees will be..” But the new tribunal office would require office space, equipment and fixtures, as well as three new employees with total payroll of $267,000.”They are telling us they expect 20 000 Violations a year, I under stand why I seen articles for other towns were residents were destroying them…

The Canadian charter of right and freedoms was put in place to protect our individual rights from the bodies who govern us..they should not be removed temporarily for anything.. I do not support a notwithstanding clause…

I don’t think phones even belong on the school grounds let alone in the classroom… phones should be left at home and screen time should be monitored and time restrictions at night for grade school children

I’ve seen countless testimonials stating that a child was progressing in life at the normal developmental stages (speech, movement, visual), and then a childhood vaccine occurs (typically the mmr) and the child has high fever, shakes , major illness within days of shot, then child begins regressing and never goes back to themselves

I’m sorry but if the children didn’t have phones, they wouldn’t be online getting bullied and threatened…unless I’m misunderstanding..

First it’s four, then 8 then the whole city is covered in them..and if this move is ok and the citizens accept it, what’s the next move..will they eventually deem we need to reduce the carbon footprint so much that if you are on outside of a zone you can be charged for the carbon usage perhaps..you know these smart meters on the home could also control the power coming into the house..and how much can be used daily or monthly with given allotments per household all in the name of climate change..

My biggest fear is digital currency and digital id..cash is king in a society were the rulers are always looking for more control…freezing accounts, limits on items monthly/yearly..endless possibilities when every little thing we buy can be tracked..

Seems like the only way they want to fight climate change is by trying to control more aspects of our daily lives..less driving, less eating meat, less travel, more tax...seems a little one sided by the ruling class..

Why did the city not invest and keep it affordable housing past 20 years…something doesn’t seem right…who owns this west village company, and who do they know

Really doesn’t matter if it’s the liberals in charge or the conservatives..they all work for the same. federal system…and it’s the system that always gets ahead, and we just play there theatrical game…left or right wing, still the same bird

Now if parents can step up and monitor and keep usage to a minimum, we may actually have a brighter future for our future generations..
